I get all reflective this time of year. I'm not sure if it the sense of running out of time, or taking a little more time for myself that causes it but the last couple of weeks of the year it always occupies my thoughts. So I'm not really a fan of New Years Resolutions, they always have seemed silly to me - I get the whole new beginning thing, but i never really got why that can't just be next today. Here's my Friday resolution - to be better well at everything. I know, seems kinda far fetched, and well frankly I've been battling with myself about whether such a thing was even possible, is a bloated ego type thing to think. In the end I've decided though that its what I'm going to go with. I have so many wonderful things going on, and i just want to make sure that I am pushing myself to make the absolute most out of them.
I will be a better dad, i love that boy more than i could ever explain to anyone and i will in this year make sure that he never has a doubt about it.
I will be a better fiance, I'm not really sure what that means yet but I am head over hills with that girl, and I'm sure their is more than i can do.
I will paint more often, I'm sure their is time somewhere :)

raising a ton of money for some nonprofits ( this one may be tricky - stupid economy)

LFAjust better. I think at the end of the day its all that anyof us can really strive for.
