Its been slow going

yeah - i'm 5 1/2 hours into my day already

So I've been up since a shy after 5 - Crazy busy this weekend. I've been coding for 5 hours ( which used to be enough to be completely done) but now I have to relearn everything I've ever know apparently.


So hows the rest of the day shaping up - about the same - proposal to finish, 5 brochures to work on, 4 websites, branding materials for 2 companies, and a save-the-date

busy busy bee

Spent the last couple of days in an SEO class from Hippo Internet Marketing Training. I had a friend that couldn't make it and asked me to sit in for her.

Tonight I'm working on a branding proposals. It's going kinda slow so I thought I'd switch gears for a minute. What I should really be doing is working on the Phoenixfire Solutions site. I haven't really gotten around to discussing it with many people, and for some reason I'm having a hard time talking about it - Oh well, I guess it will get a bit easier as it goes. Phoenixfire Solutions - is my Graphic Design and Tech firm, Tech/Design/Web/Consulting to be exact. So what does that all mean - well it means that I am a total solution provider. From the idea phase to the technology behind how it works.

Testing posterous and firefox 3.5

Cause Marketing without the cause

So what happens when you remove the cause from cause marketing - you get a really emotional new way to say buy our crap. Sure there's the few seconds of Susan G and what I assume is Habitat - although I really didn't see any logos. There's the Jackson 5, from back before they were all scary crazy. That's a plus.

It just seems wrong - when you cut away the images, and they are great images, and the music, all your left with is 30 seconds of State Farm saying - we support "stuff", give us your money.
